Medical tools cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization requirements

I. Postoperative pretreatment of the medical tools

1. First, remove the removable device to the minimum unit, and thoroughly pre-rinse with flowing water respectively.

2、 Brush the surface and lumen stains of the device with a special cleaning brush.

Timely send to the supply room for pretreatment.

II. Preconditioning in the surgical device supply room

1. Soak in warm water enzyme washing solution less than 45℃ for 20-30 minutes, and wash the metal instrument surface and the hole in the lumen with a professional cleaning brush.

2. Wash the surface of the instrument and the lumen hole of the flowing water, and rinse the inner hole pressure water gun.

3. Ultrasonic cleaning to ensure that the device is completely immersed in the cleaning solution, the temperature of the cleaning solution is less than 45℃, the cleaning frequency is 35 KHZ for 3-5 minutes,

4. After ultrasonic cleaning, rinse with flowing soft water or pure water and rinse.

III. Clean and disinfect the machine for cleaning, disinfection

Place the device on a tray suitable for cleaning. Use a suitable neutral, weakly alkaline cleaning disinfectant. The maximum temperature should not exceed 93℃, the time is not less than 10 minutes, if necessary, first neutralization treatment, then intermediate washing, washing time at least 1 minute. Finally, rinse thoroughly with distilled water, softened water or completely desalinated water. Damp and heat disinfection should be higher than 90℃, time over 1 minute or AO value greater than 600. Heat disinfect with distilled water greater than 90℃, and rinse with softened water or completely diluted water for 10 minutes. Finally, dry for at least 20 minutes at a temperature not more than 100℃. After the mechanical cleaning and disinfection cycle, all the inner chambers, pipes, blind holes and blade holes are checked for residue.
